Dead Sea Salts for Psoriasis

Thank you to those of you who have contacted us about our post on the Malki Dead Sea skincare range, ‘Dead Sea Skincare Miracles (Eczema, Acne & Psoriasis Sufferers Take Note!)‘. Amanda in particular has enjoyed sharing experiences and tips with fellow eczema sufferers and we’re pleased that some of you have already told us that you’ve had good results with the Malki range.

Dead Sea SaltsThere are two main reasons for this update, the first is – we suppose – a bit of a ‘we told you so’. Amanda found a great article in the Daily Mail this week about just how effective Dead Sea Salts can be in treating psoriasis. It’s an encouraging read, but for those of us who can’t afford a therapeutic trip to the Dead Sea, or for those ‘with pale skins, including redheads’ who are particularly sensitive to the sun, creating a Dead Sea spa in your own bath could be a great alternative. So another good reason to pop down to Boots (or online to Boots.co.uk) and pick up some of Malki’s Dead Sea Salts & Soaps.

Dead Sea Salts Psoriasis ShampooThe second update is for those of you who have asked about the vegetarian / animal testing status of the Malki range. We have been in contact with the UK distributors who have confirmed that their Dead Sea salts, soaps and shampoos do not contain any animal ingredients and are not and have never been tested on animals. Good news!

Now, as we mentioned in our original post, we don’t sell any of these products – they are only available at Boots – so, while we love to hear from you, we can’t actually sell you any. But if you want to buy a lovely gift for someone, we do a wonderful range of vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free gift baskets…!
